Ideas Keep Coming

Hello my friends! I am writing briefly today to let of a couple of ideas roll out to you concerning Relevant Brokenness.

As I informed you all, before taking 21 days off from blogging and social media, that during my times in school (Spring and Fall) I will be pretty hit and miss concerning my blog postings. In following through with this action lately, many ideas have been flooding my head concerning the direction to take this blog to give it some fresh life come the end of this Spring semester mid-May.

Here are two of the ideas I have come up with:

~ Have a section specifically geared toward homeschooler’s – focusing on the areas of brokenness that crop up with those of us who educate our children at home.

~ Have a section specifically geared toward relationships within the home – between husband and wife, and parents and children – focusing on the areas of brokenness that crop up in just normal daily life.

Now many might say, “Marni, this is your blog…take it where you want it in how the Holy Spirit directs you.” Believe me, I will…but without feedback from others, I enter into this arena blindly. In the Church, we are to be in fellowship with one another to hold one another accountable to do two things,

~ Prayerfully encourage each other in living out a Christ-driven life

~ And to hold one another accountable in areas concerning spiritual growth and development.

These two aspects of fellowship (especially online) are deeply essential concerning a blog focused on addressing broken areas of life so as a means to point back to Christ to prompt healing in our lives…and in turn, advocate others in our lives to live out the same way.

So, the comment section below is open for all to give input. Please, don’t be shy.

What do you all think? Good ideas? Bad ideas? So-so ideas? Any other ideas?

I think they both sound like wonderful ideas.  If you were looking for a choice between the 2, the 2nd would probably apply to more people but as a homeschooler I am curious what you would write on concerning the 1st one listed.  No matter where you decide to take this blog, I look forward to continuing to read it!!  :)   I have no other suggestions for you.

Thank you for your feedback, Crystal! I truly do appreciate it! :) Also, thank you for your encouragement!

Actually, I am going to keep the main focus of this blog the main focus…blogging on brokenness and how we can experience healing in Christ through addressing broken areas we discover. The idea I am playing with here is to implement one or two more areas of life that can truly help hone in on broken areas of our lives through avenues in life that perhaps we may overlook at times.

As a homeschooler myself, I am learning a great deal about broken areas raised to the surface in my own life through teaching my son who is a personality that is somewhat opposite of me…but also in many ways, very much like me. So I am having to really face myself to guide and teach him…and it can really have it’s challenges even in the preschool years. And the other aspect is something I have learned over the past 14 years of my life…and very much so over the past 4.

So as not to confuse, these aspects then (if I go down either one, or both of these avenues) would be implemented into Relevant Brokenness…not replace it or transform it. I am not sure how this would happen, but through this process of ”processing” through gathering feedback, mentally processing what I think on and what comes to my heart, etc, I trust He will reveal to me what the best course of action – even if it’s not changing a thing at all.

Thank you again for your feedback!
